WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR WEDDING DRESS AFTER YOUR WEDDING

There’s several different options of what you can do with your wedding dress after your wedding day. Here’s a few of them…

1. Preserve your dress.

When you preserve your wedding dress, it gets professionally cleaned and preserved in a box. This is a good option for you if you want to keep your dress for sentimental reasons and/or possibly pass it down to someone else.

2. Sell your dress.

If you are able to part with it, selling your dress can be a good option to make some money back on it, and give it a second chance to be worn again! Make sure and get it professionally cleaned before selling it to make sure there’s no discoloration or makeup stains for the next bride-to-be.

3. Donate your dress to charity.

Again, if you are able to part with your dress, consider donating it to charity! What a sweet way to bless someone on the most special day of their lives!

4. Wear your dress again for an anniversary photo shoot.

This is a fun option if you can’t bring yourself to part with your dress! Plan to dress back up in your wedding attire with your husband and have a photoshoot on your 1 year, 5 year, 10+ year anniversary! It will be fun to see how you’ve changed over the years, and a beautiful way to celebrate your love.

5. Keep it in your closet & try it on each anniversary.

This one is for the bride who is totally in love with her dress and needs an excuse to put it on each year! If you decide to slip it on when you eat your left over wedding cake on your first anniversary, you might as well slip it on every year just for fun, right? ;)

We hope you enjoyed these ideas!
